Weiser Melodrama Matinee
Sunday, March 14th
Join Rob and Kristen for a fun afternoon watching the fun
melodrama at the Star Theater, State Street in Weiser. Rob
is in charge of lighting for the play.
"Dogs Breath Dastardly Deeds Or That's A Lotta Cash".
Dogsbreath Devereaux, M.D., plots to wed and do away with
the wealthy widow Lotta Cash so he can inherit her fortune
and her late husband's clinic. He enlists the aid of the nasty
nurse, Hilda Hatchet, and promises to marry her once he disposes
of Lotta. Problems arise with the insanely jealous Hilda catches
Dogsbreath flirting with Wendy March, the heroine of our show.
It seems only our hero, Dr. Phil Good, can save Wendy and
the unsuspecting Lotta Cash from certain death. Set in a clinic
filled with zany patients, this melodrama is sure to leave
you in stitches.
Kathy [home: 322-7466] will be leading us to Weiser for a
fun afternoon watching a community theater event. The Ada
County group will leave Eagle at 11:00 from the Moxie Java
at Eagle Rd and HWY 44 and will meet the Canyon County group
at the Flying J at 11:30.
Rob has 9 tickets left and can get more. They are $8/each.
