Starlight Mountain Theater -
Saturday, August 7th
Dudley and Georgia [344-0717 or dggriffin7@msn.com ] will
be once again hosting an early evening potluck barbecue and
outdoor theater at the Starlight Mountain Theater in Crouch.
They have selected production of The Scarlet Pimpernel which
is set during the French Revolution. Dudley bought a block
of seats for those who signed up in May. If you would like
to go and didn’t sign up, contact Dudley to see if he
has any tickets available. If not you can contact the box
office at 462-5523 or http://www.starlightmountaintheatre.com
Tickets are $22.00 each. The barbecue will begin at 4:00 PM
at the Griffinst in Boise. Bring a dessert, side or salad
and pay Dudley $5/steak.

Huckleberry Festival and BBQ
Saturday, August 14th
Marv and Connie are sponsoring our entry in Donnelly’s
Huckleberry Festival Parade. Anyone who wants to decorate
their car should use purple, and candy-tossing is acceptable.
Kathy will be leading the group from the Home Depot parking
lot at State Street & Hwy 55, leaving at 8:30AM. The Millers
will have coffee & Danish waiting, as well as 3 bathrooms!
We'll leave to line up for the parade at 11:30 and host a
BBQ around 1:30. They would like an estimate of how many to
expect, so if you will not be at the August meeting contact
Connie at mcmxv@live.com.
Tech Day - Sunday, August 29th
This will be your chance to get together with a bunch of other
Miata owners and swap tools, war stories, and expertise! You
can help others or get help installing that new accessory
kit, tackling that modification job, or just sit around and
watch everyone else get their hands all greasy. Kate will
be putting up a canopy, so there will be lots of shade. Your
kids are welcome to join us

Tuesday, September 7th
Barbara and Mike (854-1893) are inviting everyone to join
them for dinner at 5:30 at the Crow Inn at 6781 Warm Springs
Ave, Boise. After dinner (about 6:30) we’ll drive to
Idaho City for dessert.

Backroads to Bavaria - Leavenworth,
Washington

Club Miata Northwest is pleased to announce the 11th Backroads
to Bavaria. Come join us in Leavenworth, in the heart of the
Washington Cascades. This is Oktoberfest weekend, a much-anticipated
festival every year. This much-anticipated regional event
brings Miata lovers from around the region and across the
U.S. and Canada, and we expect it to sell out quickly.
Registration is limited to 150 participants. Deadline for
registration is September 10th. The form is available at www.clubmiata.com

Cost is $60 per person. Includes Friday afternoon snacks,
Friday night dessert buffet, Saturday evening banquet, attendee
goodie bag, and more!
Home base will be the Enzian Inn [1-800-223-8511] in Leavenworth.
Additional accommodations are available at the Alpine Rivers
Inn [1-800-873-3960], overlooking the Wenatchee River. A block
of rooms has been set aside at both hotels. Be sure to mention
"Miata Club" when making your reservation. If you
need a room at the Enzian, there are two rooms reserved that

This year’s mystery will take place at a racetrack,
